A world in Crisis?

Evidence of that the world is in a crisis has been floating around on internet for the latest 10 years. The Earth Policy Institute have scientific evidence that the current situation is not sustainable. Something more tangible:

Sudan 2004: Hundreds of people dies of starvation due to war and lack of food.

China 2007: Industry waste water dumping kills about 40 000 kg of fish.

The World 2007: Two million people died of HIV related diseases. The number of people living with HIV has risen since 1990, from 8 million to 33 million in 2007. No stagnation or decline can be expected in the soon future. 22 millions out of those 33 million peoples are living in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The World Now: “Global warming, or climate change, is a subject that shows no sign of cooling down.” And, it is very likely that humans are causing the global warming. (The artic ice is melting, glaciers are melting, coral reefs dies, extreme weather events)
